I remember roughly when Machismo Strossanossa came into being in my mind, I was around fifteen years old I think, on the way back home from school sauntering and chatting with friends, to make the most of the bonhomie, between school and home, hanging out, dawdling and day dreaming, it was a profound name , potent with comedic pomposity, a writer's name, a thinker's name, a fool's name, beyond my given name as close to an inner name as I have ever gotten, a pseudonym that still clings to the wall of my imagination like so much sauce and spaghetti.
